Sat Nov 6, 2009 1:30pm EST - Broadcasting Dairy Silo Run from November 4 to New Britain CT

Howdy folks,

Today Saturday November 6, 2009 at 1:30pm ET I'll be broadcasting the dairy silo run we performed on November 4, 2009.  I'll be broadcasting this run through our Justin.tv channel at http://justin.tv/pilotcar

This dairy silo was 14' 4" High, 14' 3" Wide and 95' Long.  We escorted this load from the PA/NY line on I-84 to the Guida Seibert Dairy in New Britain, Connecticut.

I performed the route survey for this load and the high pole for the run, Mysty was my chase car.

This is about a 2 1/2 hour run.  The delivery in New Britain was a bit challenging with a few tight turns, but the dairy arranged a police escort to help us into the site.

Hope you can join us for the broadcast on JTV.

Fri Oct 30, 2009 3pm EST - High Pole Run Across CT escorting a 14' 9" Auto Press

Howdy folks,

At 3pm today Friday October 30, 2009 I'll be broadcasting the Connecticut portion of a high pole run from Plainville CT to Hamlin PA which took place yesterday October 29.  The broadcast should last about an hour and forty minutes.

The Autumn colors are just past peak still offering some nice colors as we take the backroads through CT.

The load is an Auto Press 14' 9" high and weighing in at 115,000 lbs gross weight.  There are plenty of low wires and traffic lights the load needs to jog around on this journey.

Hope you can join me for the broadcast, but if not it will be available for viewing over the next few days in the playlist and also on-demand.

Thanks for tuning in,
Mal

Broadcast Downtime, New Vids, New Promos, pilotcar.tv gear

August marks our 1 year anniversary for broadcasting pilotcar.tv and we've renovated all the pages.  pilotcar.tv™, youtube, justin.tv and eventhe blog have a fresh look to celebrate..

We've had some broadcast downtime the past few weeks due to the ongoing adventures of Subi 3.  As many of you know Subi 3 just got a new remanufactured motor in March that had problems.  I finally got the replacement after four months... and it too has problems.

Since Subi 3 is my main broadcast vehicle we haven't had any live broadcasts.   Subi 3 needs to have a vacuum test performed on Tuesday before replacement motor #3 is sent... so it still may be awhile before the next live broadcast.

We do however have several new clips and promos in our playlist and On-Demand on pilotcar.tv™
These clips are also available in High Quality on our youtube channel

pilotcar.tv™   gear is here!  We now not only have the black Beefy-Ts available we also have Hi-Vis T-shirts and Ball Caps!  Pics coming soon!

We're looking for contributors to send us vids of their pilot car runs.  Show off your work!

Hope you drop by and check out the new content and look, and while your there please sign our guestbook and post your pic.

As always, thanks for tuning in!
